Improve your Cardio and Strengthen Your Core From home!

Today’s…

workout of the day, we are going to be doing the Complete Cardio and Ab Workout – No Equipment Needed! This is another workout in our coronavirus self quarantine series.

Cardio Round 1…

For today’s cardio, we are going to do a 10 minute warmup jog. This is a great way to get your heart rate up and the blood flowing. If you are feeling ambitious, feel free to extend that 10 minute run into a 15 or 20 minute run. This will set the pace for the rest of the workout.

Circuit…

The circuit for today is going to be a mix of cardio and ab exercises. There are a total of 8 exercises which we will do for a total of 3 rounds. Some of the exercises are rep based and some are time based. This workout should take you about 35-40 minute to complete, but I always suggest taking your time and working on good form rather than doing it for time.

Stretch

To end the workout, stretch out those muscles to prevent soreness and injury. Recovery is the most important part after working out, so make sure to take care of your body and it will take care of you. Stretch it out for a total of 10 – 15 minutes depending on how much time you have.

I think people truly underestimate the benefits of stretching and how it can help prevent future injuries. Don’t blow off stretching, make sure you do it!
