Don’t Let the Coronavirus hold you back from reaching your fitness goals!

If the recent Coronavirus pandemic has thrown a wrench in your current workout routine, do not worry, you are not alone. Many gyms and studios have closed because of this, with no real idea when they are going to reopen. Even apartment gyms have closed, leaving many people with no place to workout.

Just like anything else, you need to make the most out of every opportunity and not let this get in the way of you fitness goals. Luckily for you, we have put together some workouts which can be done from anywhere. And if you have good weather where ever you are, I would suggest going on a run for the cardio section for our workouts.

What do you need for our workouts?

I would suggest purchasing some resistance bands because we have been using these in all of our home workouts! Resistance bands are versatile and are affordable! Here is the link to the current set I have been using.

You can also use dumbbells if you already have those or if you would rather purchase those. You should still be able to perform almost all of the exercises with them.

You can also get creative and use things around your house! You can use a large water bottle as dumbbells, a suitcase filled with clothes to squat with, etc. Here are some more ideas

Lower Body

Lower Body Home Workout and 30 Minute Lower Body Workout from Home  are great workouts that will still give you the feel of a legitimate workout you would get from the gym. I would say these are the best workout for those that do not have resistance bands or dumbbells to use. For a lot of leg exercises you do not need weights to feel some sort of burn.

Try out these workouts and let us know what you think.

Back and Shoulders

Back and Shoulder Home Workout will still challenge your body physically. This workout uses resistance bands which you will use for a time based circuit. The greatest thing about resistance bands is you can adjust the resistance to your liking.

If you do not have dumbbells or resistance bands, we did create a workout which can be done with just body weight. Try out this workout and let us know what you think.

Biceps and Triceps

Bicep and Tricep Home  Workout will be a little bit more challenging if you do not have dumbbells or resistance bands. You can try and find some house hold items which will simulate resistance bands or dumbbells. This workout will give you a great arm pump that will leave your arms swole.

Try out this workout and let us know what you think!

Chest

Chest Home Workout and Coronavirus Workout Series: Home Chest Workout  are designed to give you the same pump you would normally get at the gym when doing chest day. For this workout we have created 3 versions, so it is pretty much tailored to everyone at home. We have a dumbbell version, resistance band version, and a body weight version (which requires no equipment!).

Try out these workouts and let us know what you think!

Recap

Don’t let the coronavirus hold you back from reaching your fitness goals. This is a great opportunity to test and see how bad you really want it. Remember you are not in this alone and we will continue to post workouts in part of our coronavirus home workout series.

*As we publish more workouts we will continue to update this post
