Since I go into the office on Tuesdays I like to have a quicker and lighter workout. Tuesdays have been dedicated to running on the treadmill and typically adding in some bodyweight work and abs. This morning I felt great and the 4.75 miles I ran felt easy. I had a bottle of electrolytes to help fuel me during the workout which I think really benefitted me. I had a pretty clean dinner the night before but also had 2 beers, so I was worried that I might not have been hydrated enough. But first thing the morning, I drink a large cup of water, and when I am about 10 minutes away from the gym, I have my Pre workout.
Something different that I am trying today is that after my workout, once I am in the office, I am going to have a bottle of electrolytes to help with the recover. This is something I haven’t been doing, so hopefully I see some benefits of this tomorrow.
Workout:
- 4.75 Mile run
- First mile at 6.5mph
- Next 3.25 miles at 7mph
- Last .5 at 8mph
- 2 rounds of the following:
- 30 second’s high plank
- 30 Seconds elbow plank
- 30 seconds right side plank
- 30 seconds left side plank
- 30 seconds pike ups
- Mental Well being: Good, felt eh by dinner time.
