For this next topic I thought that I would change things up a bit. As workout enthusiasts, we always want to seek out the workout plan to see the FASTEST results. The diet plan that will get us the most SHREDED. The preworkout that will give us the best PUMP. In the midst of all of this, I feel like we often forget about one of the most important aspects to our workouts, (or at least if you are like me) MUSIC!
I listen to all types of music during my workout. The genre usually depends on what I am working (lifting weights, running, one max reps, etc.). The songs I want to share below are those songs that amp me up for the 2 reps at 365 on bench, or those 5 reps at 405 on squat. And it’s probably a genre you weren’t expecting.
MY TOP 8 MASHUPS:
Now, you are probably wondering, why are there only 8 songs. Well, 2 of my favorite mashups have been taken off soundcloud for some reason, so once I find the local file on my old computer, I will go upload it and update this post with those in there. But for the mean time, its only 8.
The best thing about mashups on soundcloud is that majority of them are free downloads, which you can save to your computer. Also, shoutout to Trademark for making some killer mashups.
Next question: How do I put these songs onto my Spotify playlist?
Here is an article that I found helpful to solve this problem.
Looking ahead
Music is an essential part of my workouts. I feel like if I have no good music to listen to, my workout drags on and have no motivation to get through it. To help solve this problem, I am going to make a community playlist on Spotify, where my readers can add songs of their choice to it. This way we can discover songs and never have a dull playlist.
If you want to be a part of this playlist, either fill out the suggestion form here or signup for the newsletter! I will send out a link to be a contributor to it.
If you have really good taste in music, and would like to be a guest blogger on that subject matter, please contact me!
**ATTENTION: If you filled out a suggestion form yesterday, please go ahead and do it again. It was not properly configured so I did not receive any of them – SORRY!!**
