Start to Get Lean with this 50 Minute High Intensity Cardio Workout

Today’s…

workout of the day, we are going to be doing a 50 Minute High Intensity Cardio Workout. This is a great workout to do in the gym but can be done at home if you have a bike and it is nice enough outside to run.

Cardio…

Today’s whole workout is going to be cardio based. We are going to start if off with a 3 mile run. The first mile you will run at your normal pace, the second mile we will pump up the intensity a little bit. Then on the final mile, we will do an interval style until we meet our 3rd mile. For the interval, we will do 1 minute of normal running pace, 30 seconds of increasing the speed by 2 mph, another 30 seconds of increasing the speed by 2 more mph, and then 30 second cool down. Keep doing this interval until you hit your mile mark.

Stretch

To end the workout, stretch out those muscles to prevent soreness and injury. Recovery is the most important part after working out, so make sure to take care of your body and it will take care of you. Stretch it out for a total of 10 – 15 minutes depending on how much time you have.
