Get Bigger, Faster, and Stronger with this 60 Minute Cardio Workout

Today’s…

workout of the day, we are going to be doing a 60 Minute Cardio Workout. This is a great workout that will work on strength and cardio, to help build lean muscle. 

Cardio Round 1…

For today’s cardio, we are going to be running a total of 5 miles. You can either do this on a treadmill or outside, totally up to you. This is the primary focus of our workout today so make it count. Try to challenge yourself and maybe run a difficult route or try to get a new PR! 

Circuit…

For our circuit today we will hit 5 ab exercises which we will do 35 seconds each of. We will do this circuit for a total of 3 rounds! 

Stretch

To end the workout, stretch out those muscles to prevent soreness and injury. Recovery is the most important part after working out, so make sure to take care of your body and it will take care of you. Stretch it out for a total of 10 – 15 minutes depending on how much time you have.

Cardio:

– 5 Mile run on the treadmill

    – Take the first mile to warm up

    – For the next 3 miles, run at a 5K pace

    – For the last mile, run at a 1-mile pace for time

 

Abs:

– 3 rounds of the following:

    – 35 seconds high plank

    – 35 seconds elbow plank

    – 35 second right side plank

    – 35 seconds left side plank

    – 35 seconds pike ups
