Its LEG DAY!! Probably the most important day or the week if you ask me. This is the one day you shouldn’t miss out on, and to see why, go read my article I wrote on Why You Should Never Skip Leg Day. The focus of today’s workout is a leg HIIT circuit to keep you heart rate up.
- 15 minute run:
- 2 minute jog
- increase the speed by 1 mph for 1 minute
- increase the speed by 1 mph for 1 minute
- 1 minute walk
- repeat 2 more times
- Squat 5 x 10
- 5 Rounds of the following
- Front squat @ 10 reps
- Lunges @ 20 reps (10 each leg)
- Kettle bell swings @ 10 reps
- Calf raises @ 20 reps
- Hip adduction machine 4 x 12
- Hip abduction 4 x 12
- Stretch!!!!
Less intense version
- 10 minute jog or walk:
- Squat 3 x 10
- Front squat 3 x 10
- Lunges 3 x 20 reps (10 each leg)
- Kettle bell swings 3 x 10
- Calf raises 3 x 20
- Hip adduction machine 3 x 12
- Hip abduction 3 x 12
- Stretch
