Today’s workout is a Strength Leg Workout with Circuit. To start off every workout, I like to hit cardio to get the blood flowing and muscles warmed up. The worst thing you can do for your muscles is putting strain on them when they are still tight, so even if you don’t want to run, do something to warm up the muscles.

Once I get into squat, I usually start off pretty light to warm up and then transitioned into heavier sets, eventually ending it with a heavy 3 rep set. By the end of this workout, your legs should feel like jello!

Next we will hit a quick HIIT circuit focusing on 4 different exercises. The goal here is not weight, but rather the intensity and speed. If your legs didn’t feel like jello quite yet, they definitely will after this circuit.

Incorporating legs into your weekly workout routine is a very important aspect. To understand more benefits of leg day, go here

We will end this workout with some ab work. Going forward we will do some abs without weights, but for the most part I want to add that resistance. In order to build up those muscles, we need to incorporate weight into the exercises. You should treat your abs just like any other muscle group if you want to pack on muscle, and to do so, you need to add weight!

Less Intense Version:

The goal with the less intense versions is to scale the workout back so someone who might just be starting to workout would be able to complete the workouts. If you find the less intense versions becoming too easy for you, but you cannot still do the full tailored option, I would suggest doing a mix of the 2. The best way to see results is to challenge yourself each and every day.
