Build a bigger and stronger chest even from home!

Today’s…

workout of the day, we are going to be doing a home chest workout. This is another workout in our coronavirus self quarantine series. 

Cardio Round 1…

For today’s cardio, we are going to do a 100 jumping jacks, 20 burpees and 30 high knees. This is a great way to get your heart rate up and the blood flowing. If it is nice outside, feel free to substitute this with a run outside instead. I started off this workout with a two mile run.

Circuit…

For our circuit today we are going to be focusing on chest and we will be using resistance bands or body weight to get the job done. There are a total of 5 chest exercises which we will do 20 reps of. After each chest exercise, there is an ab exercise to do. This is so you can crank out abs in between each chest exercise! 

Stretch

To end the workout, stretch out those muscles to prevent soreness and injury. Recovery is the most important part after working out, so make sure to take care of your body and it will take care of you. Stretch it out for a total of 10 – 15 minutes depending on how much time you have

Resistance Band Version:

home chest workout

Cardio

– 100 jumping jacks

– 20 burpees

– 30 high knees

      

            or

 

– go on a run outside

 

Chest circuit

 – 20 pushups

 – 20 couch dips

 – 20 reps of resistance band chest press

 – 30 second high plank hold

 – 20 decline pushups

 – 20 toe touches 

 – 20 circle pushups

 – 20 leg raises 

 – 20 wide press pushups 

 – 20 leg raises

 

 

 

 

Body Weight Version:

home chest workout

Cardio

– 100 jumping jacks

– 20 burpees

– 30 high knees

            or

– go on a run outside

 

Chest circuit

 – 20 pushups

 – 20 couch dips

 – 20 diamond pushups

 – 30 second high plank hold

 – 20 decline pushups

 – 20 toe touches

 – 20 circle pushups

 – 20 leg raises

 – 20 wide press pushups

 – 20 leg raises
