Get Bigger, Faster, and Stronger with this Cardio and Ab Workout for Summer

Today’s…

workout of the day, we are going to be doing a Cardio and ab workout for summer. This is a great workout that will really get you sweating and work on your cardiovascular endurance!

Cardio Round 1…

For today’s cardio, we are going to be doing a 4 mile run. Do this at any pace that is right for you, but also feel free to challenge yourself throughout the run. The first mile for all of my runs are usually the worst. Once you get into the groove, that is when I like to add in some intensity by either increasing the speed or adding some sort of incline.

Once you have finished your run, we will head over to the stair master where we will keep the sweat going! We will be here for 10 minutes. As you progress throughout the time, add intensity to the speed of the stair master.

Ab Circuit…

For our ab circuit, we are going to be targeting those lower abs. We have 5 different exercises that we will hit for 30 seconds each for a total of 2 rounds. Get after it here!

Stretch

To end the workout, stretch out those muscles to prevent soreness and injury. Recovery is the most important part after working out, so make sure to take care of your body and it will take care of you. Stretch it out for a total of 10 – 15 minutes depending on how much time you have.
