I woke up today feeling better than I did yesterday. Have you ever woken up just in a mood and your don’t know why? It feels like you are really living up to the saying of waking up on the wrong side of the bed. That’s how I felt yesterday. Because of that, it lead to an okay workout and just a bleh day to start off the week.
But today, I am feeling better. Had a good workout and feel motivated from a work perspective. I think that when I try to plan to do things throughout the day, such as have some chores I want to accomplish over lunch, it gives me something to look forward to and also gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Todays workout was a heavy cardio day:
- Cardio – 4 Mile run
- 100 Push ups
- 100 Lunges
- 40 pull ups
- 4 25-yard sprints
Mental Well being: Good, felt a lot better than I did yesterday. Trying to stay positive
Mental Well being notes: I let work determine how I feel a lot throughout the day. I wish I didn’t take work so serious and had the ability to just let things go and/or not bother me so much. I know this is something that I need to work on. I think that I enjoy work more when I am in person compared to when I am at home. I think that’s because when I am working from home, people only reach out when they need something, not because they actually want to talk to you. The office has more of a personal feel to it.
