Today we are going to be doing a HIIT Back and Shoulder Workout. This high intensity workout will challenge your muscle and cardio stamina.

To start it off, we are going to run a mile to get the blood flowing and the muscles moving. Warming up is always crucial to a good workout because you don’t want to be tight when lifting. This could end up causing injuries over time.

Next will be out first circuit which will be 4 rounds of 5 exercises, all at 10 reps each. Some of these lifts can be done with either a barbell or a dumbbell so it is really up to you and what you prefer doing.

Back to cardio with 10 minutes on the stair master. Challenge yourself here and play around with the different speeds. I would split up the 10 minutes by doing 5 minutes of medium intensity and 5 minutes of high intensity.

Circuit number 2 is also going to be 4 rounds of 5 exercises, all at 10 reps each. These exercises will be done using cables (Except for pull ups) which will make it faster to go through.

End the workout with some ab work. Having a strong core is great to maintain good posture and form. Don’t forget to stretch!

Less Intense Version:

The goal with the less intense versions is to scale the workout back so someone who might just be starting to workout would be able to complete the workouts. If you find the less intense versions becoming too easy for you, but you cannot still do the full tailored option, I would suggest doing a mix of the 2. The best way to see results is to challenge yourself each and every day.
