Today’s workout is a low impact leg workout. This weeks whole focus is to take a break away from heavy weight training and get your body feeling loose. If you are anything like me, after a couple months of heavy weight lifting, a break is always needed. Also feel free to incorporate some workout classes this week.

Typically I do yoga at once a week, but since this week I want to work on getting my body loose, I may do at least 2 classes this week. Next week we will start to hit weights again. We are going to easy our way back into it though. Start off with high reps, low weight and then after a week or 2, transition into heavy training again.

Less Intense Version:

The goal with the less intense versions is to scale the workout back so someone who might just be starting to workout would be able to complete the workouts. If you find the less intense versions becoming too easy for you, but you cannot still do the full tailored option, I would suggest doing a mix of the 2. The best way to see results is to challenge yourself each and every day.
