Today’s workout is a 40-Minute Low Impact Full Body Workout. This workout is intended to be a high intensity interval workout, which will result in a high heart rate throughout the duration and burning a lot of calories.
To start off the workout, we will be doing a 1.5 mile run. This should get your blood flowing and heart pumping. Also challenge yourself here by increasing the speed or incline throughout the run. This will set the pace for the rest of the workout so start off strong.
Next is our first circuit which will be 5 rounds of 4 different exercises. We will not be doing any weights today, so everything will be low impact to keep those joints nice a loose.
Once you have finished the first circuit, go grab a stairmaster and do this for 12 minutes. You should also play around with the speeds here to keep up the intensity of the workout. Keep challenging and pushing yourself.
The last circuit is working abs. I have started to incorporate weights into ab work not only to make those muscles stronger but also bigger. If you don’t want to do weights, you don’t have to. Once you have completed the workout, stretch it out! With the weather getting colder, it is important to stay loose and those muscles stretched out.
