Cardio Round 1…
For today’s cardio, we are going to be doing a 2 mile run. This is a great way to get your heart rate up and the blood flowing. Feel free to play around with the intensity of this run by modifying the speed or incline. If it is nice outside, feel free to do this run outside instead of a treadmill.
This workout also has a second round of cardio at the end. This is to do the stairmaster for a total of 10 minutes. Usually what I like to do is start off easy and then gradually increase the intensity of the stairmaster.

Stretch
To end the workout, stretch out those muscles to prevent soreness and injury. Recovery is the most important part after working out, so make sure to take care of your body and it will take care of you. Stretch it out for a total of 10 – 15 minutes depending on how much time you have.
40 Minute HIIT Cardio and Ab Workout:
Cardio
– 2 mile run
Circuit
– 4 rounds of the following:
– 10 pushups
– 10 pull ups
– 10 burpees
– set of stairs (or 30 second high knees)
Abs
– 4 rounds of the following
– 20 weighted toe touches
– 10 leg raises
– 30 mountain climbers
Cardio
– 10 minute stairmaster
