For today’s cardio, we are going to be running a 5K! Yes, that is right, a 5K. It is a cardio day so lets make the most of it. With summer approaching fast, I am going to start incorporating more cardio into our workouts to help shred some of the fat before summer.

Stretch
To end the workout, stretch out those muscles to prevent soreness and injury. Recovery is the most important part after working out, so make sure to take care of your body and it will take care of you. Stretch it out for a total of 10 – 15 minutes depending on how much time you have.
50 Minute HIIT Cardio Home Workout:
Cardio:
– 5K (3.1 Miles)
Circuit 1:
4 rounds of the following:
– 30 seconds of scissor kicks
– 30 seconds of bicycle crunches
– 30 seconds of russain twists
– 30 seconds of heel touches
– 30 second break
Circuit 2:
4 rounds of the following:
– 30 seconds of pushups
– 30 seconds of air squats
– 30 seconds of high plank
– 30 seconds of lunges
– 30 second break
Stretch!
